Brief introduction about soil firming agent

The soil firming agent is a new environmental-protection material for road building developed by our company, and has many series such as TG-1, TG-2 and TG-3, so it can be used in different soils.

Advantages

• 1. High compressive strength If the construction conditions are not changed, adding 2/10000 firming agent can improve 30-100% of unconfined compression strength; the dose of lime or cement can reduce 50% but the strength will not be lower than that under the original construction conditions. This agent is suitable to the plain lacking of sand or gravel.
• 2. Good water stability The samples of compound consolidated soil who use firming agent will not disperse if it immerse in the water for 180day and under the normal temperature. It is suitable for the coastal areas and damp and raininess area in the South.
• 3. Good frost stability Through the check by experts of Communications Ministry of P.R.C, the characteristic of this product when it uses in frost region achieves international advanced level (through research) and it is suitable for low temperature areas in the North and Northwest.
• 4. Low road building cost Compared with traditional subgrade, the road building cost lessens 15%--40%.
• 5. Energy saving and environmental protectionCompared with traditional materials for road building, save large amount of traditional materials for road building, resources and energy resource and lessen the discharging of CO2; the effect on environmental protection is obvious.
